Vocab: The Sequel
Each week, we will work with
our vocab words on a daily basis. You
will test your prior knowledge of the words with a pre-test, and then compare your new knowledge
on the post-test. Here is the schedule:
Day One: Pre-test/Intro to New Words
Homework: Complete the sentence worksheet.
Day Two: Share sentences
Homework: Find two words that contain your root to
complete the graphic organizer.

Day Three: Analogies
Homework: None-quiz on Friday.
Day Four: Word Wall (You share your words and get 5
extra credit points).
Homework: None-quiz on Friday.
Day Five: Post-test (quiz) You should be able to
remember how the word is used, what the definition is, and what words you
created with the root for the post-test.
On Day Five, we will also
have a mini-lesson over grammar if we are not in the computer lab.
